Letter from Father Gary

Welcome to our St. Mark’s Episcopal Community, a Church and Academy, proclaiming God’s love in learning, word and sacrament. We are pleased you have chosen to worship with us today.

Established in 1878, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church is a beautiful historic building, filled with love, tradition, scripture, prayer and fellowship. We are a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida and The Episcopal Church of America, centered around common worship and prayer as found in The Book of Common Prayer.

Our parishioners serve God and our parish in many ways from preparing the Altar to feeding the homeless, from visiting the sick to singing hymns of praise, from assistingnthe priest with the service of Holy Communion to preparing and serving refreshments
for after church fellowship, to name a few. There are a variety of opportunities for you to perform good works and to develop supportive friendships.

Seeking spiritual growth is an important aspect of our worship. Through weekly bible study, book discussions and Wednesday evening educational programs our parishioners explore, enhance and deepen their faith.

We invite you to join us.

Please call our parish office at 321-636-3781 or e-mail us at
hawkins@stmarksacademy.org. for more information or to schedule a time to meet with me.

Peace.

Fr. Gary
